The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has insisted that the price of petrol would not increase in March.
NNPC made the announcement in a short statement via its official Twitter handle on Friday.
Recall we reported earlier that the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) posted a template that showed an increase in the pump price of petrol from N 186 to between N209.61 to N212.61.
The PPPRA is yet to respond to the NNPC’s statement. However, the controversial template that was previously accessible on the PPPRA website has been pulled down.
