No Super Eagles Comeback For Enyeama: Veteran Goalkeeper Refuses To Return

Nigeria-Vincent-Enyeama

No Super Eagles comeback for Enyeama – Veteran Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has ruled out any possibility of a return to the Super Eagles.

The Lille stopper had quit the Super Eagles following a publicized camp battle with then manager Sunday Oliseh. Enyeama had arrived late to the camp following his mother’s funeral, but was booted out by Oliseh.

Enyeama had subsequently announced his retirement, and though reports have suggested that new Eagles handler Samson Siasia was trying to call him back, Enyeama is not interested in returning.

“I don’t want to talk about this issue again. I think my earlier decision stands,” the former Eagles captain said in an interview with Brilla FM.

The other player who quit the Eagles during Oliseh’s tenure, Emmanuel Emenike has also revealed he was not interested in making a return.
