‘I Was Not Lured, Kidnapped, Forced or Paid to Confess’- Stephanie Otobo Speaks

Stephanie Otobo wants you all to know that she willingly went to Apostle Johnson Suleman’s church in Edo State to confess to her sins.

Recall that the Canada-based singer visited the church of the defamed preacher, dishing details of how she was paid by highly-placed individuals whose sole aim was to tarnish the image of the pastor and destroy his church.

Shortly after the video surfaced, folks alleged she was paid by the preacher to clear his image, and then Sahara Reporters published a ‘doctored’ video which claimed same.

And Otobo denies this.

“I was not lured, kidnapped, forced or paid to confess. I confessed for my own peace of mind and my wellbeing as a human being. How much can the Apostle pay me that will match what I was paid, and I am still being offered more, by my sponsors?” She said, and when she was asked why she had the sudden yearning for ‘peace of mind’, she noted the emotional trauma she had endured since she accused the preacher.

And for the new video published by Sahara Reporters, she said it was made by a man name Chidi in June 2017 in Canada, as insurance in case she ever had a change of mind about slandering the preacher. “That video was made in June, 2017 and it was made by my manipulators so that they would have something against me incase I ever told the truth,” she said.

Otobo promised to name the people who paid her to blackmail Apostle Suleman. “For those of you asking me to mention names, sure, I will mention names in court because they have been sending emails and texts offering me a lot of money but I cannot be manipulated anymore,” she added.

Concluding, she said, “I was made to tell too many lies, I was chocking. The burden of guilt was too much for me to carry. If I did not correct this grave sin, I would never have obtained the forgiveness of the body of Christ and even in the life hereafter.”
