NOWA President, Mrs I.B Ogalla Holds Seminar For Naval Ratings Wives Association

The National President Naval Officers Wives Association (NOWA) Mrs Ijeoma Blessing Ogalla hosted a seminar for the Naval Ratings Wives Association (NARAWA) on Monday 22 July 2024 with the theme, “Marriage for Couples: A Life Time Relay.”

The event was held at the Police Officers Wives Association Hall, Asokoro.
In her remarks, Mrs Ijeoma Ogalla, who was represented by the Vice President of NOWA, Mrs Zainab Akpan said the gesture was part of the welfare drive of the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) to inculcate marital values, provide and organise skill acquisition programme/training in order to boost their finances. She further reiterated that the CNS recognises and appreciates NARAWA.

The guest speaker at the event, Mr Simon Nogun Asemota, noted that marriage is ordained by God, and every couple needs team work to survive. He advised the Ratings Wives to take responsibility for their families.
