Ondo 2017: Akeredolu And The ‘Bread’ Of APC
Stomach infrastructure introduced by Gov. Fayose of Ekiti State seems to be on the increase among other states as the APC candidate for Ondo gubernatorial election 2017 has got a bread branded his name with his party.
This is a new twist to the dramatic emergence of the ‘Aketi 2017’ branded loaves of bread that were shared in a targeted area in Ondo State to promote the image of the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Rotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN
The sponsor of the rare benevolence named Dele Ogun has issued a press release after the gesture was politicized by members of opposition parties in the state
In a statement titled “My interest is about our candidate – Sponsor of “Aketi Bread”, he explained the loaves of bread were shared as part of his contributions to the campaign exercises of Mr. Akeredolu.

Dele Ologun, a major supporter of the Akeredolu Campaign has come out to condemn the reaction of people on social media to his kind gesture towards the Akeredolu Campaign.
Mr Ologun’s contribution of two buses to the APC candidate was acknowledged by the candidate on his triumphant entry to the state after the release of his name by INEC
He has also placed about 5 billboards all over the State especially on the Ogbese-Owo road axis.
“The most important thing that we can do is do whatever it takes for our candidate to win.” Ologun said in reaction to the negative sentiment brought from the images circulating the web
“My interest is about our candidate. Immediately I saw it online I was mad. Like what nonsense is this. Why are people ” He uttered frustratingly. “Some people have branded water, which is vital, what is the big deal in putting the name and face of your candidate everywhere?”
When asked about how much was made, Mr Ologun revealed that a total of 400 pieces of bread were made specifically for Ward 1 in Akure North which have since been distributed around the 4th of November. The resurfacing of the images is seen by many within the APC as a desperate attempt by the opposition to taint the image of Akeredolu.
