Pay Me While Am Alive, Sunday Oliseh Drags NFF on Twitter
Former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh, like a bad penny, has returned to the Nigerian football scene.
The former Eagles skipper has taken to social media to call out the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) over alleged debts being owed him and his Belgian assistant, Jean Francois Losciuto. This is coming at a time of relative calm in the country’s football ahead of the crucial Fifa 2018 World cup qualifiers.
Oliseh, 42, shocked the country in February when he took to Twitter to announce his resignation as head coach of the Super Eagles – seven months after his unveiling in Abuja as the African Guardiola – with the country on the brink of another Afcon fail.
The former Ajax and Juventus midfielder pointed to unpaid wages, lack of support and contractual violations as his reason for absconding, allegations the Amaju Pinnick-led NFF board has since rubbished.
However, in a tweet posted Friday on his handle (@SundayOOliseh), the enigmatic ex-international prayed the NFF to pay him and coach Losciuto the “huge amounts” they’re being owed, before warning them of a possible suspension should the football house continue to ignore his Belgian colleague’s letter to that effect.
Read his tweets below:
Hope the NFF will pay coach Losciuto & myself the huge amounts they still owe us without litigation whilst we are alive! Pray they listen!

For 5 months, Losciuto's lawyers' letters to D NFF have been ignored.Should CAS suspend Nigeria it is not his fault.B4 they lie 2 you again!

But his ‘critics’ – whom he labelled ‘insane’ in a bizarre rant before his resignation – seemed unperturbed by his lamentations as they had a field day coming after him on social media.
Read their reactions…

Some Nigerians have however backed Oliseh and joined forces with him to call out the NFF.
