Peter Okoye Celebrates Samuel Eto’o as He Marries Longtime Partner
Yesterday, Samuel Eto’o finally married his longtime partner Georgette La Trou in an elaborate white wedding in Italy, and one of those who took to social media to send good wishes to the new couple was Peter Okoye.
“Congratulations to my brother, My friend and one of the Koolest dudes I know on earth @setoo9 on his wedding day with his lovely wife Georgette,” Okoye said, noting, “Your journey with this beautiful woman of substance has been a long and wonderful one so today I celebrate both of you.”
Months ago, Peter Okoye toured Europe with the professional footballer and reports surfaced that the duo were working on Okoye’s football club.
Now, Okoye has joined a host of friends in wishing the couple well.
“May God continue to bless your Union. I am sorry I missed the ceremony as this was due to circumstances beyond my control. We are coming to see you soon in Italy,” Okoye said yesterday.
Eto’o wedding to Ivorian partner comes more than a decade after the duo kicked off their relationship, and also almost two years after the couple put a ring on it.
