PIRATES ATTACK VESSEL ON NIGERIA WATERS

Reports indicate that pirates have attacked a vessel in Brass, Bayelsa State, Nigeria.

The vessel, MSC LUCIA, was attacked at Position 2deg 13N-004deg 50E around 149nm.

Sources say the assailants are still perpetrating the attack as of the time of filing this report while the crew are currently at the citadel.

Intelligence has reported a number of pirates attack in Brass, Bayelsa State. On January 13, 2021, an unnamed vessel was attacked by an unspecified number of pirates in Brass, Bayelsa State.
