President Africa Centre For Strategic Studies Nigeria Pays Courtesy Visit To DG Nigerian Army Resource Centre
The President, Africa Centre for Strategic Studies (ACSS) Nigeria, Major General BA Isandu(Rtd) paid a courtesy visit to the Director General, Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC), Major General JGK Myam (Rtd) OFR, at the Boardroom of TY Buratai Block, NARC, Asokoro, Abuja, on 23 June 2026.
Speaking during the visit, Major General BA Isandu stated that ACSS seeks to strengthen collaboration and promote knowledge sharing with the Nigerian Army Resource Centre. He noted that the Centre looks forward to leveraging the wealth of experience and expertise available at NARC and expressed the desire to seek its advice and support in the execution of planned activities and programmes.
He also appreciated the Director General for promptly granting the request for the visit and for the warm reception accorded to the delegation.
In his remarks, the Director General, NARC, Major General JGK Myam (Rtd) OFR, welcomed the delegation and expressed appreciation for the visit. He described the proposed collaboration as a welcome development and assured the delegation of NARC’s readiness to partner with ACSS in areas of mutual interest.
Major General JGK Myam (Rtd) OFR further emphasised the importance of strategic partnerships in advancing research, promoting knowledge exchange and enhancing human capacity development towards addressing contemporary security challenges.
The visit culminated in the presentation of a commemorative plaque and publications of NARC to the President, Africa Centre for Strategic Studies. The occasion also featured the signing of the Visitors’ Book and a group photograph.
Major General BA Isandu (Rtd) was accompanied by members of his entourage from the Africa Centre for Strategic Studies Nigeria, while senior management staff and officers of the Nigerian Army Resource Centre were present during the visit.
