New reports have just confirmed that Fetty Wap was involved in a robbery and subsequent shooting that left 3 people injured in his hometown South Paterson, New Jersey.

According to USA Today, the trap rapper and his team members were at an all-night deli when the dispute started, erupting in a gunfire. Gratefully though, he was not injured during the shoot out.

Speaking with the press, the Paterson deputy police chief Troy Oswald confirmed that Fetty Wap and several of his friends were involved in the shooting, which reportedly happened shortly after 5 a.m. ET. However, the deputy police officer said Fetty Wap and his friends are not suspects in the shooting or the robbery that happened during the confrontation.

Also, the authorities are yet to confirm the story that another hip-hop artist was involved in the dispute. They did not give the details of the victims and their connection to Fetty Wap. The police also did not reveal the details of the dispute that resulted in the shooting.

USA Today adds that two of the wounded victims were taken to the St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, while the third person is being treated at the Hackensack University Medical Center.

Fetty Wap had not yet reacted to the story as at press time.
