After Sending Gunmen To Kill Him, Rapper Young Thug Still Stands With Lil Wanye

Today, the Cash Money rapper took to his Twitter to write Wayne a heartfelt note.

“I promise I’m holding u down no matter what… fuck the world and what they think\feel I’m with u for life, ur the reason I rap,” he said, adding, “I just wish u could love me the way I love u big bro… ur my idol for life and I hope ur sorry for bashing me, not knowing how much I love u.”

This comes as a surprise because only months ago, an attempt was made on Lil Wayne’s life and it was linked to his rivalry with the Cash Money boss Birdman and his nemesis, Young Thug.

Recall that in April 2015, Lil Wayne’s tour buses were shot up by attackers who had trailed them from where he and his crew had gone to perform in Atlanta. All his YCMB executives were on board the two buses, but luckily, no one was hurt. Wayne’s prosecutors alleged that the shooting was orchestrated by Birdman and Young Thug, and this was because the shooter turned out to be Young Thug’s tour manager, Jimmy Carlton Winfrey.

Winfrey, eventually, surrendered to the police and was sentenced.

There was no substantial evidence to prove that Young Thug and Birdman sponsored the shooting.

Now, Young Thug is up on social media and for the first time, spewing his guts, to the surprise of many people.
