Shell agrees to pay Niger Delta Community $84m over oil spill

Oil giant Shell has agreed to pay the sum of £55 million that is about N16.6 billion to residents of the Bodo community in Rivers State in the Niger Delta region for two oil spills dating back to 2008 and 2009.
