Shun Corruption, Magu Urges Youths

The Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu has charged the youth to join hands in the fight against corruption and other fraud related offences.

He made the call yesterday, June 19, 2019 in Arewa House, Kaduna, while speaking on the topic: “Understanding the Act and Proceeds of Crimes and Corruption and how to Avoid and Report it,” in a one day seminar / symposium organised by a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Yusuf Sidi Na’allah, under the auspices of EFCC/NYSC Community Development Services Club in collaboration with the EFCC, ICPC, Code of Conduct Bureau, Corporate Affairs Commission and the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Kaduna State Governor on Skills Acquisition and Foreign Students with the theme: “Building corrupt free minds, Role of the youth.”

Magu who made the call through Ahuchoju Chidi, a staff of the Commission who represented Mailafia Yakubu, Zonal Head of the Kaduna Office, implored the youth to shun all forms of corruption and criminality, noting that youth corps members should take the lead in the fight against corruption, beginning from their places of primary assignments.

Apart from paper presentations, the event featured drama, debate among participating schools.
