Soulja Boy has fired Floyd Mayweather, the retired boxer who had been hyping his fight with Chris Brown.

TMZ reports that the rapper has employed the services of the legend Evander Holyfield in preparation for the celebrity boxing match set to hold this March. And asked why the sudden change in coaches, the rapper’s promoter Wack 100 told TMZ that the retired boxer had been too busy, hence the decision to switch services.

Recall that the drama started after Soulja Boy claimed Chris Brown threatened him for liking Karrueche Tran’s photos. Their feud degenerated with the artistes challenging themselves to a boxing match which will hold in Dubai this year. While Mayweather stood by the rapper’s side, Mike Tyson said he will teach Breezy how to knock Soulja Boy out.

Many people had, at first, assumed the challenge to be a joke, but the two artistes have invested so much emotions and money into preparing for this first ever celebrity boxing match. And Soulja Boy, who is currently facing more than four years in prison if convicted of gun crimes, is not backing out of this fight.

Plus, the match gets more interesting as former rivals Mike Tyson and his nemesis Holyfield will now go toe to toe, to prove who’s better at coaching.

We can’t wait to see how this turns out.
