Spanish Navy Ship Bam Metoro Arrives Lagos As Spanish Ambassador Visits Western Naval Command

Spanish Navy Ship (SNS) BAM METEORO arrived at the GDNL Terminal 12, Apapa Lagos, as part of its mission to strengthen maritime ties with the Nigerian Navy. The SNS BAM METEORO was warmly received by a team of officers from the Headquarters Western Naval Command and Western Fleet.

The visit is scheduled to last from 24-27 September 2024, and it is aimed at enhancing bilateral relations, promoting maritime security, fostering cooperation in areas of mutual interest and commitment of both nations to promoting peace and stability in the Gulf of Guinea.

Furthermore, on Wednesday 25 September 2024, the Spanish Ambassador, Ambassador Juan Ignacio Sell, and the Commanding Officer SNS BAM METEORO paid a courtesy visit to the Flag Officer Commanding Western Naval Command, Rear Admiral MB Hassan.
