
Stay True To Your Course: Commander Guards Brigade Graduates 66 Students Of Basic Drivers’ Course 8/2025
The Commander Guards Brigade, Brigadier General Adebisi Olusegun ONASANYA, today presided as the Special Guest of Honour at the graduation ceremony of 66 students of the Basic Driving Course 8/25, held at the TA Lagbaja Auditorium, Aguiyi Ironsi Cantonment, Abuja.
In his welcome address, the Commanding Officer, Guards Brigade Supply and Transport Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel AA Oladipo expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Commander for his unwavering support to training and capacity development within the Brigade.
Delivering his remarks, the Special Guest of Honour, Brigadier General Olusegun Onasanya urged the graduating students to “stay true to their course”, emphasizing discipline, professionalism, and commitment to duty. He reiterated that the Nigerian Army remains deeply invested in training and retraining, particularly in building competent drivers who play a critical role in supporting ongoing security operations across the country. According to him, enhancing technical proficiency is essential to overall mission success.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of certificates to all graduating students, followed by the presentation of awards to the overall best three students, who excelled in both theoretical and practical aspects of the course and the group photograph.
