Suspected Killer of General Shuwa Arrested

The Army spokesman Col SK Usman is reporting the arrest of the suspected killer of civil war hero Major General Mohammed Shuwa in 2012. This is a sign that our Armed Forces and Intelligence Agencies are leaving no stone unturned in stemming the Insurgency in the North East. You will recall that Major General Shuwa was shot dead by unknown gunmen at his home in the restive northeastern city of Maiduguri in 2012. Four men initially thought to be his visitors entered his house and opened fire on the retired General and his guests. The Commander 3 Brigade Nigerian Army is expected to parade the suspect in a press briefing shortly, check back for update HERE
