Sylvester Stallone Demands Investigation of Woman Who Accused Him of Rape
Sylvester Stallone is taking up the case with a woman who accused him of raping her 27 years ago.
According to reports, he has learned that the woman filed a “false” report with Santa Monica Police Department, alleging he raped her in his Santa Monica office in 1990.
Stallone’s lawyer, Marty Singer, says the actor has denied the accusation, though he admits he spent three days with her in Israel, during the shooting of a movie. He was single at the time and the woman was not a minor. He also denies ever seeing the woman again in 1990, as she claimed.
The unnamed woman had gone to a media house with the story but the house refused to publish it due to lack of corroborating evidence as well as the fact that since she had yet to file a police report. The woman eventually filed a report in November with the Santa Monica PD, still no media house has bought the story.
Now, Stallone and his lawyer are waiting to confirm her complaint this morning, and if they find out that she did indeed go to the police to accuse Stallone of rape, they will file their own complaint “requesting she be investigated for filing a false police report.”
This is the second sexual misconduct report against the veteran actor.
Recall that in November, news surfaced that the actor forced a 16-year-old girl up to his hotel room in Las Vegas in 1990 and intimidated her into having sex with him and his bodyguard, the now late Michael de Luca. He also allegedly threatened to “beat her head in” if she told anyone of her experience.
After the alleged horrifying experience, she decided not to report to the police because she feared retribution. She however proceeded to tell her story to the police later that same year. The officers tried unsuccessfully to get her to press charges against the actor and his bodyguard, but she didn’t.
“I’m kind of scared and I’m very ashamed,” she told them, and signed a ‘no prosecution’ form and the case was closed.
When the story resurfaced last month, Stallone denied it. Now, he has yet another case of rape on his hands.
