Theatre Commander Pays Familiarization Visit To Air Component Command Operation Hadin Kai

In continuation with the familiarization visit to Formations and Units under the Theatre Command, Major General GU Chibuisi, the Theatre Commander (TC) Joint Task Force (JTF) North East (NE) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) today, 17 July 2023, paid a familiarization visit to the Air Component Command (ACC) OPHK.

On arrival at the Air Force Base Maiduguri, the TC was received by Air Commodore GI Jibia, the Air Component Commander OPHK alongside the Commander 105 Composite Group, Air Commodore EP Bindul. Thereafter, Major General Gold Chibuisi was briefed on the the Operational activities of the Air Component Command.

The TC who was visibly impressed by troops turn out, also commended the detailed brief, which according to him, has broadened his understanding of the activities of the ACC. According to the TC, the support from ACC can not be overemphasized as it has positively impacted on the Operational activities of OPHK.

Moreso, Maj Gen Chibuisi charged the Air Component to continue to sustain the tempo of their operational activities in order to decimate the terrorists and their activities in the entire North East. The TC also pledged all necessary support to the ACC in order to aid the Command’s operational activities.

The highlight of the visit was the Inspection of Quarter Guards, presentation of brief, Group Photograph, Presentation of Souvenirs, Tour of Facilities and Signing of Visitors’ Books.
