Timi Dakolo’s ‘Medicine’ Brings To An End Cobham’s ‘Empty’ On Alternative Nigerian Chart

The reign of Cobhams Asuquo’s Empty on the alternative Nigerian chart sadly comes to an end this week.

After holding firmly to the no.1 spot for 4 weeks in a row, Empty gets booted out by Timi Dakolo’s Medicine which debuts at no.1. Korede Bello still maintains the no.2 with Let Him Go while Mayorkun’s Sade also receives the hard boot from no.3 and gets completely kicked off the chart by another newbie, Waje.

Waje makes her debut with her inspirational single Mountain featuring South Africa’s Lira. Mano’s S.O.S plunges to no.7 from no.4 and is replaced by Kennis Music star Joel, who shoots up from no.9 with Yamarita featuring Ycee.

MC Galaxy’s Your Love drops again this week, landing at no.6 from no.5 while J.Jamani’s Forget the night swaps places with him and becomes the no.5 song of the week.

Ikon X’s Mama Africa continues to struggle to maintain a spot on the chart as it drops AGAIN from no.7 to no.9 after shooting up from the bottom last week.

Moriah’s Runaway shines this week, climbing to no.8 from the bottom of the chart. He kicks out 1Da’s Concentrate.
