Wizkid Takes Over UK Charts With ‘One Dance’- Here’s What Everyone is Saying About Him

Yesterday, Wizkid became the first Nigerian singer to make it to no. 1 on iTunes World Chart and also remain on that spot for one week, and counting. Now, the ‘Ojuelegba’ singer has made it to No. 1 on the UK Single Chart Top 100, and it’s all thanks to Drake’s One Dance.

But this international success didn’t come without some sort of ridicule from Nigerians who said he was given the D’banj treatment“, their reference being D’banj’s brief feature in Kanye West’s Mercy. On Social media, there are still a few voices mocking the singer for promoting the new song, but there is new stories that Wizkid has more works with Drake which are yet to drop.
