Zlatan Ibrahimovic Confirms Manchester United Move

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed he will be joining Premier League giants Manchester United next season, bringing an end to months of speculation since his contract with Paris Saint Germain expired in the summer.

Ibrahimovic, who became a free agent after leading the French giants to consecutive domestic trebles, has reportedly agreed personal terms with United worth £220,000 a week, Guardian writes.

The 34-year-old striker made the announcement on social media, writing on Twtter/Instagram: “Time to let the world know. My next destination is @manchesterunited #iamcoming.”

The former Ajax and Barcelona striker will become the second signing for new United manager José Mourinho, following the capture of Ivory Coast international defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal.

Mou and Ibra worked together at Internazionale during the 2008-09 campaign, with the manager later saying: “A player who gave me as much as Ibra will always be in my heart. He is very special, one of the best strikers in the world.”

The Red Devils are also on the verge of signing Borussia Dortmund playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan, with news that a £30 million fee has been agreed for the 27-year-old Armenian.
