Manchester United teenage sensation Marcus Rashford appears to have made a mark across the Atlantic with the news that rap mogul Jay Z is interested in signing him to his label, The Sun reports.
The Empire State Of Mind hitmaker and owner of streaming site Tidal reportedly wants the 18-year-old striking prodigy to join the likes of Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng in the sports arm of his outfit, Roc Nation Sports.
Rashford 18, has had a meteoric rise in the second-half of the season, hitting seven goals in his last 12 matches including the winner on Saturday as Manchester united beat Aston Villa 1-0 at Old Trafford to officially condemn the midland club to the second-tier next season.
US boxer Andre Ward – the unbeaten world super middleweight champion – is another act on the books of Roc Nation Sports along with German World Cup winner Boateng.
Rashford is definitely headed for improved contracts in the summer having impressed since being introduced to first-team football with speculation that a new contract at the end of the season could see the forward earn £15,000-a-week at the club.
