
Acting Commander Sector 4 Operation Hadin Kai Assures FRSC Of Support
The Acting Commander Sector 4 Operation HADIN KAI/Commander 23 Brigade ( Ag Comd Sect 4 OPHK/Comd 23 Bde) Brigadier General Amechi Agwu has assured the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Adamawa Command of the Sector’s continued support in actualizing the mandate of the Corps.
Brigadier General Agwu stated this during the courtesy visit of the State Commander, FRSC , Corps Commander Ibrahim Sadiq to Headquarters 23 Brigade on Wednesday 6 May 2026.
The Ag Comd Sect 4 OPHK/ Comd 23 Bde added that Sector 4 OPHK would continue to leverage on the mutual relationships between the Sector and the FRSC in discharging their constitutional duties.
He commended the FRSC Adamawa Command on the planned programmes by the Corps to reduce Road Traffic Accidents within the State, promising the new State Commander of the Sector’s solidarity in implementation of the programmes.
Brigadier General Agwu acknowledged the cooperation of the FRSC in issuing of Drivers’ licenses to qualified members of the Barracks community, promising to build on the existing cordial working relationships with the Corps.
Earlier in his remarks, the State Commander FRSC Adamawa Command, Corps Commander Ibrahim Sadiq said the military and the FRSC have come a long way working together in anchoring the security architecture of the State, adding the FRSC officers were trained by the military which afforded them the high calibre of the military discipline.
Corps Commander Sadiq sought the support of the Sector in executing the FRSC programmes for adequate traffic management in the State, opining that the military intervention on the planned programmes would make it a huge success.
He commended Sector 4 OPHK/23 Brigade for keeping the high profiled areas bedevilled with security challenges safe which affords the Corps a conducive environment to carry out its legitimate duties.
Highlights of the visit include signing of the visitor’s book, exchange of souvenirs and taking of the group photograph to mark the end of the visit.
