Acting Deputy Commandant NASPRI Inaugurates Third Quater Courses

The Acting Deputy Commandant, Nigerian Army School of Public Relations and Information (NASPRI)
Lieutenant Colonel Yusuf Ngulde has 14 July 2023 innaugurated Third Quater Course 2023 at the school auditorium in Bonny Cantonment Victoria Island Lagos.

In his remarks, the Acting Deputy commandant reiterated the need to leverage on the potency of Social Media to propagate positive narrative of the Nigerian Army Operations.

Lt Col Ngulde asserted that the Information and Communication Technologies(ICT) allows for simultaneous communication with instantaneous feed back adding that as students of information management, the need to appreciate and employ the use of social media cannot be over emphasized.

He equally commended some members of the public and sections of the media, including bloggers and online publishers for disseminating successes achieved by the military in various theatre of operations in their patriotic stride

Lieutenant Colonel AY Ngulde who first enjoined the staff and Students to observe a minute silence in honour of the recently departed Commandant of the school Brigadier General Omale Ochaguba prayed for the repulse of the late senior officer for his commitment towards raising the standard of training in the school.

Lt Col Ngulde encouraged the new students to take all lectures, syndicate discussions and academic discourse seriously as the rich curriculum of the courses are designed to equip them with requisite knowledge on how to assist their Officers in addressing some public relations challenges in the fields.

He therefore, thanked the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Maj Gen TA Lagbaja whose intervention led to development of befitting structures at the permanent site in Muhammadu Buhari Cantonment Giri-Abuja while expressing gratitude to the Chief of Naval Staff Rear Admiral EI Ogalla for the confidence reposed in the School by continually subscribing for courses to benefit officers and ratings of Nigerian Navy in his capacity development efforts.

He also acknowledged the Commander Training and Doctrine Command and the Chief of Training (Army) for their unflinching support. The Third Quarter Courses inaugurated include X3 News Reporting and A3 Video Operations.
