APC Defends Budget Blockage Call

Despite strong criticism over its directive to its  lawmakers to suspend further cooperation on every executive bill until President Goodluck Jonathan brings the political crisis in Rivers state under control, the Nigerian opposition party APC  has stuck to its guns that its directive was in order and for the betterment of democracy in Nigeria.
