Army War College Nigeria Pays Courtesy Visit To Nigerian High Commissioner In Uganda

As part of their Geo-Strategic study tour, Team One of the Nigerian Army War College’s Course 7/2023 had the privilege of paying a courtesy call to the Nigerian High Commissioner in Kampala, Uganda. Led by Exercise Director for the tour, Major General Bamidele Alabi, Commandant of the Army War College Nigeria (AWCN). The team were accompanied by Brigadier General TJ Mackintosh the team leader.

At the Nigerian High Commission, the team was warmly received by the Nigerian High Commissioner Amb. Ismail Alatise, who expressed his pleasure in hosting the future military leaders. The High Commissioner commended their dedication to expanding their knowledge in the field of geo-strategy and diplomacy, recognizing the importance of military officers having a comprehensive understanding of global affairs.

The Commandant AWCN Major General Bamidele Alabi, the Exercise Director, expressed appreciation to the High Commissioner for his insights and guidance. He emphasized the importance of diplomatic engagements in building strong partnerships and promoting regional stability.

The participants led by Brigadier General TJ Mackintosh expressed their gratitude for the warm reception and the opportunity to interact with the High Commissioner. They conveyed their commitment to utilizing their knowledge and skills acquired from the Army War College to contribute effectively to Nigeria’s foreign policy objectives and enhance bilateral relations with Uganda.
