Beyoncé Cancels Her Tour After Doctor Places Her on Vocal Rest
Beyonce has dropped a huge bombshell on her beyhive looking forward to her Formation tour in New Jersey.
According to reports, Queen Bey has been forced to postpone her New Jersey Formation tour, which was to take place on Wednesday, Sept 7, after she was placed on vocal rest by her doctor. Beyonce’s doctor reportedly stated that she needs to slow down and allow her vocal chords rest, so she has been strictly ordered not to perform for now.
MetLife Stadium announced Monday that the “Hold Up” singer will no longer be performing Wednesday in East Rutherford, New Jersey, “as a result of strict doctor’s orders for vocal rest.”
The Sept. 7 show has been scheduled for Oct. 7. “There are no changes to any additional dates at this time and performances in St. Louis, Los Angeles, Santa Clara, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Philadelphia & Nashville are expected to proceed as scheduled,” MetLife Stadium said in a statement. “Live Nation and Parkwood Entertainment apologize for any inconvenience.”
Beyoncé has not yet commented on the postponement.
The 35-year-old singer has nine shows to go on the Formation World Tour.
Beyonce, who turned 35 days ago, kicked off her Formation World Tour in support of her album Lemonade on April 27 and was to conclude on Oct. 2nd. However, the mother of one will now round up her tour on October 7 as a result of her doctor’s orders.
Fans have since reacted to the news and they have different things to say.

Those who won’t be able to attend the rescheduled show:
😔😔😔😔 I flew all the way here for this, AND it's my birthday. And now we can't afford to come back, or get to another show.
