Beyonce NOT Running For Mayor Of Los Angeles, Despite Report
Beyonce is not running for Mayor of Los Angeles, despite a new report. Los Angeles Newsmen can exclusively correct this untrue claim. We’re told it’s “ridiculous.”
According to the MediaTakeOut, Beyonce is “preparing to run for Mayor of Los Angeles.” The repeatedly discredited site claims, “This is not a rumor, we CONFIRMED the report with people close to Beyonce,” and promises “details On Bey’s transition into politics.” “We spoke exclusively to a very well connected insider, who tells us that Bey has ALREADY hired political consultants and is taking preliminary steps to run as early as 2018,” adds the often disproven webloid.
The untrustworthy outlet’s so-called “insider” alleges, “[Los Angeles current mayor Eric] Garcetti is running for governor or senator in 2018. If he wins, there will be a special election for Los Angeles’ mayoralty. Beyonce is going to run then.” The webloid notes, “Beyonce has already established the residency requirements to begin running, and as you can imagine, she already has superstar support… It will be the most watched ELECTION CAMPAIGN ever for a mayoralty.”
Remember, MediaFakeOut is the same site that repeatedly claimed in 2011 it had confirmed Beyonce was faking her pregnancy with Blue Ivy by wearing a prosthetic baby bump. It has subsequently gone on to publish scores of incontrovertibly untrue stories that Gossip Cop has exposed as fabrications, including a recent tall tale about Bill Clinton hitting on Beyonce. Much like its collection of other articles, the current claim about Beyonce wanting to become Mayor of Los Angeles is entirely made up. A rep for Beyonce tells Gossip Cop that talk of Beyonce pursuing a political career is “ridiculous.”
