Factional leader of the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents, Abubakar Shekau has released a new video claiming responsibility for Tuesday’s bomb blasts that ripped through Maiduguri town in Borno State.

Shekau, leader of the Jama’atu Ahlil Summah Lil Da’awatu Wal Jihad, on Thursday released an audio with his picture attached to the background, in Hausa said: “I am truly elated with this milestone achievement by our fighters”

During the attack, the terrorists launched multiple missiles in Gwange, Bulabulin, Adam Kolo, and Molai area of Maiduguri which led to the killing of at least 10 persons and about 60 sustained various degrees of injuries.
