CIC Tasks Redeployed Commanding Officers On Troops Welfare

The Commander, Infantry Corps (CIC) Nigeria Army (NA), Major General Olufemi Oluyede has tasked redeployed Commanding Officers (COs) of the Infantry Corps Centre’s (ICC’) Administration Battalion and Records Office to make the troops’ welfare their priority. Major General Oluyede stated this during the send-off ceremony organised for the redeployed COs at the Headquarters Infantry Corps Centre Jaji-Nigeria Conference Room on Friday, January 26, 2024.

The CIC urged the outgoing COs to yield to the Command by rendering quality service to the troops. He added that the outgoing COs should develop an interest in the well-being of their soldiers and the environment. The redeployed COs are Lt Col Mikailu Sani who was posted from the ICC Admin Battalion to Army War College and Lt Col Waheed Shittu of the ICC Records Office to the 103 Battalion.

Highlights of the event were the presentation of gift items to the redeployed COs by the CIC and group photographs.
