Dwayne Wade Strips Naked for ESPN’s Body Issue After 7 Years of Turning Them Down
Miami Heat’s Dwayne Wade is steaming things up and also causing some buzz on the internet.
After seven years of saying no, the 34-year-old NBA star finally overcame his insecurities and stripped naked for ESPN The Magazine’s 2016 Body Issue. The magazine, which features professional athletes posing naked, stated that they had been trying to get Wade to be part of their Body Issue since 2009 but he respectfully declined their offer seven times.

This year, Dwayne finally accepted ESPN’s offer and he shared the reason why:
“I was just never comfortable until about four years ago, when I started feeling comfortable with my body overall. People might think it’s simple, but for me it was hard to even feel comfortable walking around naked when it’s just me and my wife. So the thought of doing it at a photo shoot in front of people [laughs]—it was like, “No way ever.”
The father of three also opened up to the magazine about his biggest body insecurities, his career and more. You can read Wade’s full interview here.
So after seven years of refusing to pose nude, what do Wade’s fans think about the photos? While a few think the photos are super hot, many are not feeling them at all.
See their reactions.
