Guardiola appointment, big reason for City slump – Manuel Pellegrini

 Contrary to what has first thought that it was Manuel Pellegrini that told Manchester City to announce the appointment of new manager, Pep Guardiola, the Chilean has come out to say that the announcement wasn’t his idea. Pellegrini claims rumours of players coming in and leaving the club, had hampered their progress at a very crucial part of the season.

When Guardiola was announced at City’s new manager, at the time, it was thought that it was Pellegrini’s idea that the club made the announcement to queer rumours flying around at the time.
