GUNMEN ABDUCT THREE BUTCHERS AT AKURE NORTH LGA OF ONDO

Gunmen have abducted three butchers at Ajadusi Community after Ala town, Akure North LGA of Ondo State.

The incident occurred around 6am on Tuesday morning November 16.

Intelligence gathered that the four butchers had received a call from one of the kidnappers to come and buy cows. On getting to the community, the abductors ambushed them, shoot sporadically before kidnapping the three of them.

During the attack, one of the butchers was injured while on their way to purchase cows. The only butcher who escaped is now receiving treatment at a hospital in Akure.

This is coming two weeks after Amotekun operatives arrested a kidnap-syndicate in Ondo and recovered over 500 pieces of dagger alongside other ammunition from the gunmen.
