Iheanacho’s Manager Donates 50 Footballs to Rangers

Kingsley Okechukwu Ogbodo, an Enugu State Indigene based in the United Kingdom and Manager to Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho, on Tuesday identified with Enugu Rangers by making a massive donation to the club.

In appreciation of their stunning victory in the 2016 Nigerian Professional Football League to bring an end to their 32-year title drought, Ogbodo donated 50 footballs, 36 bibs and 30 jerseys to the Coal City outfit, Vanguard writes.

According to him, the donation was intended to support the reigning NPFL Champions, as well as to motivate the team to win the forthcoming CAF Champions League.

Receiving the items on behalf of the club at the Government House, Enugu, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi thanked the donor for his gesture towards the progress of the Flying Antelopes and the State in general.

Ugwuanyi described Ogbodo as a good ambassador of the state and called on other indigenes to emulate his disposition by contributing to the development of the state and society at large.

Rangers begin their NPFL title defence with a potentially fiery clash against south-east rivals Abia Warriors, while they take on Algerians J.S Saoura in the preliminary rounds of the Caf Champions League.
