It was over before it began for Justin Bieber and Lionel Richie’s daughter, Sofia Richie.

According to People, the duo who were completely inseparable in August and making out in public, called it quits for unknown reasons.

The Canadian singer confirmed his relationship with the then-17-year-old Sofia Richie by flooding his Instagram with her photos. This upset ex, Selena Gomez’ fans, as they launched a hate campaign against him and Sofia, prompting him to delete his Instagram.

For Richie’s 18th birthday, the pop star flew her to Mexico for an intimate bash. Later, they were spotted in the open, packing on the PDA, and not long after, there were alleged claims that the duo had a sex tape.

In her interview with Billboard, Sofia Richie explained why she fell for the singer.

“We have a special relationship. Justin is very easy to talk to, and that’s hard to find with people in Los Angeles,” she said.

Now, People reports that it was just a fling they had, that the duo were “basically on a love-fest,” while Bieber is not ready to get serious with anyone.

“These girls all go crazy for him, but he’s not settling down. It’s virtually impossible where he’s at in his life and career for anything to last with these girls,” People adds.
