A stunning new lawsuit suggests Kim Kardashian has no right to her own initials … as far as the cosmetics world is concerned.

Kim K is being hauled to court by the Danish makeup artist Kirsten Kjaer Weiss on the claim that the reality TV star’s makeup line, KKW, is messing with her own KW brand. (read, the brand names are too closely related), TMZ reports.

Recall that Kim K took the cosmetics world by storm last month with the successful launch of her KKW line which raked in over $14.4million in minutes.

Well, that didn’t go down well with Kjaer Weiss, whole line of KW cosmetics and makeup services are hot sellers around the world.

According to documents, Kirsten claims Kim K’s infringement is “knowing, willing and deliberate” — and it’s intended to dupe customers and screw with her business in the process.

She doesn’t really want much from the lawsuit – just for the court to immediately block Kim K from using ‘KKW,’ and to award her all of Kim’s sizeable profits in addition to some payments for damages!

Meanwhile, sources connected to Kim’s makeup line say the mother of two did her groundwork by consulting several veteran trademark attorneys when launching her KKW line to ensure there were no violations.

Bottom line, Kim K is confident, for now, that KKW Beauty in no way infringes on Weiss’ KW brand.

That’s it, but you can hit the comments to tell us if you think the lines are similar.
