Let Your Training Impact Your Work, EFCC Chair Charges Staff
The Acting Executive Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC Abdulkarim Chukkol has charged operatives of the Commission to bring skills acquired from sponsored training to bear on their duties and assigned tasks in various commands.
Chukkol delivered the charge on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at the closing ceremony of a series of training held at the EFCC Academy, Karu, Abuja.
Speaking through the Deputy Commandant, Training, ACE1 Babashani Umar Sanda who was represented by ACE 1 Chidimma Amanambu, Head, Media Academy Unit, EFCC Academy, Chukkol observed that, “training is expensive and not cheap therefore you all need to put into use the skills you acquire from these programme in the performance of your duties when you return to your various commands.”
The EFCC boss further emphasized that the essence of regular training of officers by the Commission is to acquaint the participants with new skills of investigation due to the dynamic nature of crime so that they can effectively curb economic and financial crimes in Nigeria.
The training programme covered courses such as Tax Fraud Investigation Techniques, Proactive Investigation Technique (Undercover Operations), Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing and Dark Web. Participants were drawn from various commands of the Commission and the head office.
