NASEME Host Students Of Nigerian Army Ordinance School For Strategic Practical Study Tour
The Nigerian Army School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (NASEME) further solidified its reputation as the premier hub for technical learning today, 3 March, 2026, as it hosted a visiting delegation of staff and students from the Nigerian Army Ordnance School (NAOS). The visit, held at the NASEME complex in Auchi, served as a comprehensive practical study tour designed to provide the visiting students with high level exposure to the technicalities of military engineering and hardware maintenance.
The visiting team, led by the Acting Chief Instructor, Armament and Ammunition Courses Wing, Major EI Okaro, comprised students from the Ammunition Storeman Basic A3 Course 42/26 and the Arms Storeman Basic A3 Course 15/26. During the engagement, Major Okaro expressed profound appreciation for the warm reception and conveyed the greetings of the Commandant NAOS, Major General Abdullahi Aliyu. He emphasized that the tour was intentionally designed to expose the students to the practical nuances of their trade, which is vital for their career progression and operational efficiency.
In his remarks, the Commandant NASEME, Major General Chima Ekeator, welcomed the participants and urged them to seize the opportunity to immerse themselves in the technicalities of arms and ammunition maintenance available at the school. Highlighting the sensitive nature of their future roles, General Ekeator reminded the students of their pivotal position within the Nigerian Army’s arms accounting and security framework. He further issued a stern charge, imploring them to maintain impeccable character and avoid any form of moral decadence or professional compromise while discharging their duties as custodians of military hardware.
The study tour reached its climax with a guided exploration of NASEME’s engineering facilities, providing the students with firsthand insight into technical support operations. The visit concluded on a high note with the formal signing of the visitors’ book, a symbolic exchange of institutional souvenirs, and a group photograph to commemorate the successful partnership between the NASEME and NAOS.
