Nigerian Army School Of Military Police and Nigerian Army School Of Legal Services Holds Combined Graduation Ceremony For Students Of Second Quarter Courses

The Nigerian Army School of Military Police and Nigerian Army School Legal Services held a combined graduation ceremony for students of second quarter courses at Abudulraham Dambazau Auditorium, Zaria, Kaduna State on 17 July 2026.

The ceremony brought together officers and soldiers who underwent intensive training on Law enforcement, Police duties, Behavioural science, Investigation, Law, Security Survey, Alternative dispute resolution, Sexual exploitation and Abuse, Nigerian Military law amongst other Military exercises

In his address, the special guest of honour the Commandant Warrant Officers’ Academy, Brigadier General Anthony Wende commended the graduands for their discipline, professionalism and commitment during the course emphasizing that Nigerian Army requires well trained and competent hands to confront the security challenges in the country. He charged the graduands to be more proactive in the discharge of their duties having in mind that the nation counts on them for a stable and peaceful atmosphere.

Brigadier General Wende further appreciated the Commandants of the schools and their training team for ensuring the students receive Invaluable knowledge.

Earlier in his remarks, the Commandant Nigerian Army School of Military Police, Brigadier General Onalo Yakubu expressed gratitude to the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu Nigerian Army Medal, for making available all the necessary tools and logistics required for the training. He urged the graduands to remain good ambassadors of the schools and remain exemplary

Also speaking, the Commandant Nigerian Army School of Legal Services, Colonel Daniel Ehicheoya in his remarks urged the graduands to always apply the knowledge gained during the course with fairness, integrity and respect to the rule of law.

Dignitaries that graced the ceremony include a senior professor of Strategic communication department of Mass Communication Ahmadu Bello University, Professor Cosmos Eze , Head of Department of Sociology Ahmadu Bello University Dr Muhammed Bashir, Coordinator of Masters in Peace and Conflict Management Department of Political Science and International Studies, Ahmadu Bello University Dr Fatima Mahmud and senior officers from Nigerian Army Formations in Zaria.
