PHDL Transitions Leadership As Major General Kevin Ukandu Takes The Helm
Post-Service Housing Development Limited (PHDL) on Monday 13 June 2026 witnessed a seamless transition in leadership as the immediate past Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Major General Isaiah Allison, formally handed over the affairs of the Company to the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Major General Kevin Ukandu, at the PHDL Corporate Headquarters, Asokoro, Abuja.
In his farewell remarks, Major General Allison expressed profound appreciation to the officers, soldiers and civilian staff of PHDL for their loyalty, dedication and unwavering support throughout his tenure. He urged them to extend the same cooperation to his successor, stressing that unity, professionalism and commitment remain essential to sustaining the Company’s growth and fulfilling its mandate.
Assuming office, Major General Ukandu commended his predecessor for his visionary leadership and remarkable contributions to the growth of PHDL. He pledged to build on the solid foundation laid by Major General Allison and provide purposeful leadership in advancing the vision of the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, while strengthening PHDL’s capacity to deliver affordable, quality housing for officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army.
The ceremony was attended by former Managing Directors of the Company, members of the management team, Joint Venture partners, business associates and staff of PHDL. It marked the formal transfer of leadership and reaffirmed the Company’s commitment to delivering on its mandate in support of the welfare objectives of the Chief of Army Staff.
