Five weeks ago the La Liga title was a foregone conclusion for Barcelona, and for many, another European treble could be taken for granted.

But a near extraordinary late-season slump saw the Catalans blow a 10-point Liga lead and crash out of Europe, setting the stage for a thrilling finale to the Spanish title.

But Luis Enrique’s side weathered the storm, and a 3-0 victory at Grenada on Saturday sealed their sixth Liga title in eight seasons and set them up for a double if they can beat Sevilla on Sunday in the Copa del Rey final.

Normalcy has returned to Camp Nou, and insanity unleashed on the streets in Catalonia with Mexican wrestling masks and hamburgers; some of the bizarre extras spotted as they celebrated their back-to-back triumph with a parade through the city.

Party animal Dani Alves caught the eye in his ‘lucha libre’ face mask, while Neymar also attracted attention as he brandished a hamburger, asking members of the crowd to pass him food.

Mirror reports that Javier Mascherano and Jordi Alba danced atop Barcelona’s open-top bus as the team partied till the early morning.
