The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General TY Buratai, on Monday 14th January 2019 flagged off Exercise EGWU EKE III in 81 Division Nigerian Army’s area of responsibility.

He also commissioned Officers Transit accommodation in Ikeja Cantonment, Lagos. Present at the occasion was the representative of the Lagos State Governor, who is also the Special Assistant to the Governor on Intelligence and Security, Mr Adekunle Ajanaku, Oba of Ikorodu, representative of the Akran of Badagry, Oba of Mushin and the representatives the Oba of Shomolu. Others were Principal Staff Officers from Army Headquarters, Corps Commanders, General Officer Commanding 81 Division, Flag Officer Commanding Naval Western Command and Air Officer Commanding Logistics Command, as well as the Commandant of Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre, heads of Security and para-military agencies in Lagos State, amongst others.
