See the Photos of Boy Allegedly Chained and Held Captive by the Celestial Church of Christ

Photos of Taiwo Korede, a deeply malnourished 9-year-old child in captivity has surfaced online. In the photos, Korede has a chain with a big padlock around his neck. He was left half-dressed in the premises of the Celestial Church of Christ, Key of Joy Parish, Ijawo. According to Amanda Chisom Blog, the child was rescued on July 22nd by the officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) at the Ajibawo area in Ado Odo Ota Division 2.

The report confirmed the boy had been their captive for two weeks, and it is unclear if he was abducted or was held by the church authorities with his parents’ consent.

As at press time, the case was still under investigations and no one had been arrested for such grievous crime of child abuse.
