Sir Shina Peters’ Camp Denies Claims That He Abandoned His Cancer-Survivor Wife for Another Woman

Last week, news made the rounds that Sir Shina Peters abandoned his wife, Sammie Peters for a new wife Olajumoke Olayinka Peters. However, following the massive criticism from the fans of the Afrojuju singer, his manager Femi Davies has sort of denied that claim.

According to Davies, Peters is a ‘law-abiding citizen who wouldn’t risk bigamy as he is legally married to Sammie Peters.

“The story is not true. Shina is not married to any other woman other than Sammie,” Davies told Punch, adding, “He is legally married so he cannot have another marriage by law.”

 

The most talked about news in town is the alleged second marriage of popular musician and Afro Juju singer, Sir Shina Peters (SSP) to a certain Olajumoke Olayinka not too long after his wife of many years, Sammie Peters returned from the US where she survived a near-death cancer experience.

 Not a few people have accused SSP of betrayal with news going viral that Sammie feels bitter and all alone.

In a response to Sunday Scoop’s enquiry, the business manager of SSP, Femi Davies said the story was not true. According to him, Shina Peters is a responsible and law-abiding citizen who won’t risk bigamy as he is legally married to only Sammie Peters.

“The story is not true. Shina is not married to any other woman other than Sammie. He is legally married so he cannot have another marriage by law, “he said.

 He however refused to comment on whether there is a romantic relationship between SSP and Olajumoke Olayinka.

 

But the business manager refused to address the relationship between the iconic singer and Olajumoke Olayinka Peters, if any exist at all.

Well, they have denied the claims that he abandoned his wife, and we guess his fans can breathe well now.
