Theatre Commander Receives NAOWA Chairperson, Assures Of His Continuous Support

The Theatre Commander Joint Task Force Northe East Operation HADIN KAI, Major General Gold Chibuisi has declared his support for the Nigerian Army Officers Wives’ Association (NAOWA) 7 Division Chapter.

He made the declaration when the Chairperson NAOWA 7 Division Chapter Mrs Amina Peter Malla paid him a courtesy visit at the Headquarters Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI, Maimalari Military Cantonment Maiduguri, today 20 October 2023.

General Chibuisi who expressed delight while receiving the Chairperson and her entourage, disclosed that NAOWA was an integral part of the Nigerian Army (NA), as its activities form part of the non kinetic approach used by the NA to achieve operational successes.

The Theatre Commander who further commended the Chairperson for keying into the leadership philosophy of the President NAOWA Mrs Maria Lagbaja and sustaining the legacies of her predecessor, urged her to carry the Nigerian Army Soldiers Wives’ Association (NASWA) along and continue the good works NAOWA is known for.

Stating the purpose of her visit earlier, the Chairperson NAOWA 7 Division Chapter, Mrs Amina Peter Malla stated that her visit was to congratulate the Theatre Commander on his recent appointment and also acquaint him with the activities of NAOWA 7 Division Chapter.

Mrs Malla further pointed out that she intends to look into areas of skill acquisition for barracks women and youths, improved learning environment for children, as well as general well-being of barracks women, children and youths.

Mrs Amina thanked the Theatre Commander for granting them audience amidst tight schedules.

The visit which featured signing of visitor’s book, presentation of memento, as well as group photograph, had in attendance the Deputy Theatre Commander Maj Gen OM Bello, Chief of Staff Headquarters Theatre Command, Principal Staff Officers, Component Commanders and NAOWA Executive of 7 Division.
