Zidane To Replace Mourinho at Manchester United

Zinedine Zidane wants to manage in the Premier League next season and reports say the Frenchman has his eyes on Jose Mourinho’s job as he looks to assume the helm at Manchester United.

Zidane, 46, is currently out of work after he resigned as Real Madrid manager in May just five days after guiding the club to their third consecutive Champions League trophy.

The French great won La Liga with Madrid in 2017, as well as two Club World Cup trophies during his incredible two-and-a-half years as first-team manager at the Santiago Bernabeu.

French daily L’Equipe claims Zizou is already considering his next role and has his sights set on managing Manchester United.

His interest comes as Mourinho faces increased pressure to deliver success to United after failing to win a trophy at Old Trafford last season.

The Portuguese tactician, whose side finished 19 points behind champions Manchester City last season, has been at odds with United’s hierarchy this summer over transfer spending.

Mou warned club chairman Ed Woodward and the board that they may be in for a difficult campaign seeing as their title rivals have reinforced.

Apart from the lack of major trophies, Mou has come under severe criticism for the boring football of his team.

Interesting days ahead for the Old Trafford outfit.
