Bandits abducted Emir of Kajuru, Alhaji Hassan Adamu Kajuru, and ten other persons from the palace on Sunday Night in Kaduna State.
Kaduna Police Command has confirmed the abduction.
The Emir was said to have been kidnapped with three women, two of his grandchildren, three of his aides and five others to an unknown destination.
Mohammed Jalige, Command spokesman, confirmed that the bandits stormed the town at about 1am Sunday morning and shot sporadically.
He said, “We have deployed our men.’ while adding that the command would apprehend the criminals.
