Lawmakers in Imo State have impeached the Speaker of the State’s House of Assembly, Paul Emeziem.
The impeached Speaker has been replaced with Kennedy Ibe.
Reports indicate that 19 of the 27 lawmakers said to have signed the impeachment papers.
This development comes barely two weeks after Lawmakers in the Plateau State House of Assembly impeached its Speaker, Abok Ayuba.
