Commandant NASI Pays Courtesy Visit To Commandant WOA, Commends Commitment To Professional Military Training

The Commandant, Nigerian Army School of Infantry (NASI), Major General Mohammed Inuwa, commended the Warrant Officers’ Academy (WOA) for its immense contributions to leadership development and professional military education in the Nigerian Army. He made the commendation during a courtesy visit to the Commandant, Warrant Officers’ Academy, Brigadier General Antony Wende, on Monday 27 July 2026, at the Warrant Officers’ Academy, Jaji Military Cantonment Kaduna State.

Speaking during the visit, Major General Mohammed described the Academy as a critical institution in the development of Warrant Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers, noting that the high standard of instruction and training at the Academy continues to enhance the operational effectiveness of the Nigerian Army. He added that the visit was aimed at strengthening the existing cordial relationship between NASI and WOA, while emphasising the need for sustained collaboration in training, leadership development and capacity building to achieve the Nigerian Army’s professional objectives.

In his remarks, the Commandant, Warrant Officers’ Academy, Brigadier General Wende, expressed appreciation for the visit and thanked the NASI Commandant for his continued continous support and confidence in the Academy. He reaffirmed WOA’s unwavering commitment in maintaining high training standards and strengthening institutional cooperation in addressing emerging training challenges to achieve greater results for the Nigerian Army.

Highlights of the visit included the presentation of souvenirs, signing of the Visitors’ Book, a guided tour of the Academy complex, and group photographs.
